Polishing off the baked on grime from your exhaust.

Here is what I use to do this:
Adam's Metal Polish Webril Wipes (8"x8" wipes) Water spray bottle 3M sandpaper in various grit levels (1500, 2000, 3000) Rubber gloves are also something you should use because things get messy... 8-)


Make sure your exhaust is wiped off of major debris before polishing. You can see below all the baked on grime on my exhaust. These spots will not clean off my exhaust at all.


I sprayed a little water on the exhaust, and on the 1500 grit Sandpaper. I sanded off the baked on grime from the exhaust.


Here is how it looked after sanding with 2000 grit.


Here is how it looked after sanding with 3000 grit. Just a slight haze. Ready for ADAM's Metal Polish !


Fold the Webril Wipe into a 1/4 section. Don't be shy with pouring on the Adam's.


One polishing using Adam's and its mirror shinny again !
